I never felt that conspiracy theory was particularly more taboo for Christians, it was simply taboo for all. To talk about such topics carried a stigma much like disclosing mental illness. There are those who simply don't want to wake up. They feel doing so might disrupt their "happy" life to which they cling with white knuckles.
The scriptures you share here are poignant. While I know that Satan is the Prince of the Power of the Air (http://bit.ly/2tM4OB1), I never considered that this included power over the nations. It all makes sense. Indeed, we wrestle not against flesh and blood...nice post.
