Lest you think the lack of media attention lately on the North Korea issue is a sign that the chances of war have abated, think again.
After meeting with all of the top military generals and their wives in the White House for a special impromptu dinner on October 5th, President Trump responded to a reporter's questions about the purpose of the gathering with the ominous statement, "This is the calm before the storm... You'll find out." The timing, and the optics, suggest the plans for war have already been drawn up and are just waiting to be executed. All they are waiting for is the next 'provocation' by North Korea, and the imaginary "red line" will have been crossed that the US will promote as the justification for a pre-emptive strike of ominous proportions.
