Further works at the cinema
Last time I told you guys how we got the plasterboards on the first floor and that we spread them across the cinema. Today I will show you how we brought the boards to the second floor and the ceiling. We used to work with two different techniques. As we worked at the smaller cinema halls we carried the plasterboard up the scaffold without any helping machines. Around 60 to 80 daily, depending on how many boards the plasterers would requirer that day. It’s been four of us and always two carried one board.
But when we worked at the V-Max cinema hall, a much bigger one we used a different technique. There was a scissor lift installed with an board of timber on top, so all we had to do is to get the boards to the V-Max hall, lift them up the scissor lift and push a button so the machine would do the rest. Two guys were waiting on top of the scaffold to grab the delivered boards and carry them straight to the plasterers.
