The U.S. Trump administration continues its attack on the proletariat and precariat with dismantling the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB). The bureau along with protections created under Dodd-Frank supports the rights of individuals against the predatory tactics of large financial and corporate entities, such as $185 million in fines against the illegal practices of Wells Fargo. Another example of the U.S. administration catering to big interests at the expense of the liberty of the individual and fair consumer protection.
