This came ...Really quick :)
Wow, time flies when you are having fun! Exactly 365 days ago I joined the STEEM blockchain and what an adventure it has been...
The first thing I did when I got my account going was follow 
Not a bad start...But then I took some time off...
For the next 20 days...I became a sponge.
I soaked up all the information I could, printed out the blue paper, the white paper and every 'paper' I could find. And I
learned the WHAT....I'm still working on the HOW ;)
My first post was on December 27th, and you could see.....I was quite the noob ;)
But I was hungry...And made the commitment to myself to show up...Everyday! No matter what.
I'm grateful for STEEM and even more fired up for it's future. But it's not perfect...And I think that's what makes it so special.
I remember one of the first 'marketing messages' I heard when STEEM was mentioned went something like this...
"Come for the rewards, stay for the community..."
And here we are...A year later at around 23 cents per STEEM token and that TRUTH is very evident for me.
Part of the biggest benefit to STEEM is the fact that PEOPLE make up this blockchain. There's fantastic technology and lots of awesome things going on in the background...
But the PEOPLE are what drive this place.
I could care less about the price of STEEM right now because I'm too busy trying to meet you all :)
That's STEEM...That's it's big potential.
Is it perfect? Nope, not at all. And sure Steemit Inc has had their fair share of criticism over the past year...But again...THE PEOPLE are what makes this place so special...
So I won't drag it out, I'm not going to give my Oscar award winning speech and thank the Academy for my one year anniversary....I just wanna say THANK YOU STEEMIANS!
Thank you for making this blockchain the greatest online. And thank you for joining me on my journey....
