D.Buzz is here to bring you the 8th Golden Buzz Award!.
It's hard to believe that with today's post it will two months that we've been handing out the Golden Buzz to totally impressive people. I will let you in a little secret as well, we have no desire to stop anytime soon!
The HIVE blockchain is growing at a steady pace. Developers are jumping on the platform, there is a solid base of users joining in, and soon, no doubt we'll see the big onboarding run that will take us to the next level.
What can you do to help? Well, keep on doing what you do! Generate astonishing content, find that best buzz of the week and post it, tell your friends to jump on in, and keep having fun!

Every Saturday, we will have a contest to locate and find the best Buzz from the previous week!
Do you think your Buzz is the best?
Do you think someone else's Buzz is worthy of the gold medal?
We want to dig through the mountain of great content to find that gem in the rough that we can polish up into a diamond, that is our Saturday segment, "The Golden Buzz Award"!
How does this Golden Buzz contest work?
- Post a link to a "Buzz" from the week in the comments below that you feel is the best.
It just needs to be a Buzz posted on D.Buzz.
We will then give this contest seven days to run, and whichever comment below gets the most votes (Not value, but Votes) wins.
CLARIFICATIONS:
- You are able to nominate yourself or someone else for the golden Buzz. If you win, you get 25 HIVE.
- If you nominate someone else's Buzz, the original author (the Creator) will get 75% of the prize, and you will get 25% (the Curator)
- A Curator and Creator could potentially both post a nomination to their Buzz. The winner is, however, chosen by whichever COMMENT receives the most votes. See point (1) above about payout for Curator vs. Creator.
- People can nominate the same Buzz, but again, it's the number of up votes (not the value of up votes) that determines the winner. So you can vote with an up vote value of 1% on many buzzes you feel is best. Or, I guess you could make an army of fake accounts and up vote your nomination..., but if you did this, you'd be a D#@k.
- In the case of a tie. The people in a tie Will have to spin around with Their eyes closed for two minutes and then balance a broom on the nose, First to drop the broom loses ... Lolz, jk. We will select the winner if it's a tie.
With the contest in place and the rules laid out sort of clear but more "murky" at best, it's my pleasure to say "Let the games begin"!
