Dungeon and Steem
created a very crafty plan how to lure the guards out from their positions. Did it work out? Meanwhile
found another random bunch of orcs. Seems like it doesn’t matter where he goes, the forest is just full of those bastards. If he wins, will he be able to reach the 400 points? The answer to most of those questions can be found below! Is the end here?
Whoever reaches 400 points first wins!
What is DnS
You’re witnessing my humble try for transmission of unique DnD like gameplay onto the Steemit’s platform. All the players have all the freedom in the world to choose their next actions. The only obstacle is the ruthless Dungeon Master (that would be me) trying to kill them at every other corner. Only the best (and the luckiest) ones were able to survive up to this point. The previous chapter can be found at the end of this post.

Action plan
I nudge Antelem and point at one of the huts a little way off with a light shining through the window then at another hut a little further away with a light showing through a window. I lean close and whisper, "Use your fire magic to make the flames grow large and start the grass roof on fire. Keep starting more on fire until the guards leave their posts. Once they do, I will slip in behind them and enter the leaders hut. Once I do, hide yourself until I come for you. May Xnurlos give you strength and grant us both a good measure of luck!" Then I slowly move off to circle around off to the side of my friends hut behind the guards.
Result
Antalem grinned when he heard your plan. “Very well, this should do it. Playing with fire is exhausting though, this will cost me most of my today’s energy.” You thought that it will be well worth it and let him proceed. You saw Antalem slipping into a deep concentration and soon after the fire in the oil lantern in the hut next to you started visibly growing. Soon it reached the oil storage tank, which led to the explosion of the lantern. Suddenly fire was all over the wooden hut and started spreading quickly. The Orc in the hut just shouted “THE FUCK”. The explosion and shouts attracted nearby Orcs, starting with the guards in front of the leaders hut. The planned worked exactly the way you wanted. You quickly slipped into the hut, finding Nargus that just wanted to exit his hut and check out what is happening. You gently pushed him back inside and closed the door behind you.

Engagement plan
We draw all our weapons to low ready and freeze in our tracks. We face the orcs and I scan the orcs for ranged weapons such as bows or spears, or slings, and if I am seeing none, I suggest quietly to my team we start slowly backing up while remaining weapons ready and alerted. If I see ranged weapons, distance wont matter so I mutter hold your ground to my people and either way, backing up slowly or not, weapons ready, I speak out clearly and firmly "friend or foe" to the orcs, "we wish to be friends" I add, and await a reply or response. If they attack, we fight, if not, we hold or back away continuously till the situation is resolved through discussion or combat the orc's initiate first.
Result
You were pretty much caught off guard. The Orcs immediately charged at you. The group quickly dropped the meat and drew weapons. You “fearlessly” chose to stand in the back with the bow, while you let each member of your group to face one of the Orcs.
The battle started. Aegald managed to strike first at one of the Orcs. All the fighting had left numerous scars on his soul, but also some gained experience. (DICE ROLL) You have never seen him striking so vigorously. He totally caught the Orc off guard and severed his left leg just like that. Your arrow was ready to be fired, but who to choose. You had no idea who is the better warrior, so you just picked one at random (DICE ROLL) and you barely hit his right arm – not more than a scratch has been caused. The guy immediately answer with a strike at Forhan. (DICE ROLL) The Orc simply smashed his head, cutting through the leather helmet like trough the butter. Pumped by his companion’s success the last Orc attacked Taelder (DICE ROLL) and hit his right leg, but only barely. It cut through the skin only thanks to his armour. The counterattack (DICE ROLL) inflicted the same damage to the Orcs chest.
Aegald now met with the presumably strongest Orc, but was nowhere close to his level. You tried to fire at the son of the bitch (DICE ROLL) but totally withed the most important shot of your life. Aegald truly expected to die with the next swing of the mighty foe (DICE ROLL), but SOMEHOW he managed to dodge the attack and only got slightly hit to his left leg. The weaker Orc attacked Taelder (DICE ROLL) and hit again, this time his right arm. This has already proved to hinder his fighting condition (DICE ROLL) and his next attack failed.
This time you needed to make the shot count. You carefully prepared it and fired (DICE ROLL) but again only scratched this time orcs right leg. Aegald was nowhere close to hitting his foe. (DICE ROLL) No one could have expected him to dodge again, but he FUCKIN DID IT. The true CHAMP. The other Orc tried to finish the weakened Taelder off (DICE ROLL) and was successful.
(DICE ROLL) It all happened so fast, you were simply unable to hit. IT was your though your last chance. Double teamed Aegald stood no chance whatsoever, no matter how big CHAMP he was…you followed his demise soon after. DEAD
