Sorry to be the breaker of bad news, boys (and girls), but this format has a couple fatal flaws.
First and foremost, in a 10X10 grid game, players buy squares WITHOUT knowing the numbers that will randomly be assigned to them.
If "squares" are purchased willy-nilly, the "randomness" of who gets them is always going to be questioned. Imagine being the person who bought 10 squares and got stuck with 8s, 2s and 1s all over the place...
What you do is allow the people who have paid to select squares by coordinates (i.e. xy Cartesian coordinate plane). For example, "Patriots C, Eagles J)...this would equate to the square sitting the third to the right, at the very top - the highest square that is third to the right. This would assure that people got the squares they wanted, and everyone could see everyone's square picks (hello...blockchain).
When they were all sold out, then the runner of the contest could shoot a live video with 0-9 written down and folded up into a hat, so the random number selection could be viewed by all should they not trust the integrity of the contest.
I have no reason not to trust the integrity of the poster of this, but I will say that there will be a lot of people complaining that their numbers suck and Joe Blow got all the good numbers.
I hope everyone sees this because the contest might not fill up due to the fact that many people who like this particular contest don't exactly like the lack of transparency. Consider revising by allowing those who paid to select their squares first, then let everyone else jump on board. When they all fill up, record the number draw. It will probably get more money for sharing as a second post. ;)
