The message in this poem is a powerful reminder that we must be careful of the dangers of what we do, especially before we fall asleep. That also includes staying awake at the wheel when driving for long hours. Really strong images. Congrats

Thank you to all the participants who made this contest a success. This week, we had so many amazing entries and it was very hard for me to judge. I had a lot of fun reading them all and deciding the winners. Everyone gave their best and they were all great poems, however, some of you could have won, but you unfortunately didn't have the correct amount of syllables. I will be posting the next contest "Week 8" in the very next post today. If you didn't win this week, then you have another chance to take the top 3 spots in Week 8.
