This is because I want younger folks to understand the dangers in street hawking and also the failures of government in providing them safety.

I'd pick Disappearing African Tales, because I think we be trying to spread our stories so they don't vanish, actually we should even be trying to put them on screen and even better yet in video games. And with a compilation you give people a choice.
I would tell them the story of the
Demi-gods of ancients benin kingdom. The reason is because story teaches about bravery, loyalty and the need to keep instructions.
