If you haven't yet heard of this, the first MMORPG game based on the blockchain
You can read all about the game concept here, and the answers to most questions will be found in the FAQs.
The developers of this game are super nice and helpful, no matter what problems or questions we throw at them, and for this they deserve a round of tea & chocolate biscuits!

Join me!
Please join me in playing - the more the merrier!
The game is really easy to set up - just a plug-in browser extension (currently available in the Chrome or Firefox browsers only, but the developers are constantly working on expanding the game options so let them know what you need).
Once you have joined up, or if you have problems or questions not covered in the website FAQ's, then you can also join us in the steempunknet Discord channel. While you are there make sure to drop your profile into #battle-announcement so we know who is fresh meat how to find you.
Playing the game is even easier than signing up. In order to build up your stats you simply go about your Steemit business as per usual - posting, commenting, upvoting, etc.
Handy tip, for free - you're welcome ;) : get into the routine of starting your Steemit day by logging into the steempunknet game. That way everything you do on Steemit after that counts towards your stats numbers.
Fight me!
I love having new victims fighters to battle with. Get your name up in lights, so to speak, as we have a list and while I am neither confirming nor denying, rumour has it that Santa references this list before packing his naughty-or-nice sacks.
Speaking of sacks chests - be sure to watch out for them dropping. Clicking on them allows you to collect the variety of goodies which are hidden inside. Like,
and be sure to scroll down the whole page as you never know just where or when a chest might turn up.
One of the fun parts of the game is reading the variety of messages that pop up. For example, when you challenge another player you might get this pop-up:
or if you are challenged by another, you might see this:
Now if you are real lucky, after the battle you might be informed thusly:
but hopefully not this bad news:
You may need a strong cup of tea and a lie down after this battle.
Exalt me!
Yes, this is the ego portion of the post. No, don't leave! It'll be short & sweet, I promise.
So yesterday I was playing and at some point noticed this monumental event had occurred ...
Yes!! I had finally joined the exalted level 10 rank. There are only a few players who have reached this level so far, but others are hot on our heels.
Now while the game is still in it's beta-testing phase, this is the highest level you can reach, but it does take time, sweat and tears so there's little fear of peaking too early. You may even be lucky enough to have a fanfare once you have reached this level. So much to look forward to!
Draw me!
Remember the profile pic I posted above? No? Well, that is because there isn't one! Let me refresh your memory.
I find this a touch discombobulating. Who wouldn't want their opponents to be psyched out by an awe-inspiring rendering of one's chosen character?
Now, in case you have been away visiting relatives on another planet for the last couple of days, you may not have heard yet about this fantastic competition. The game developers have put together a generous prize of 50 steem for this steempunknet game character art contest. What it means is that they have put the call out for new design concepts for their two current character choices - Aristocrat and Adventurer, in both male and female forms. I won't go into the nitty-gritty because you will need to read all the entry guidelines to understand what they are wanting, so just follow the link above.
I wouldn't dream of trying to influence any design choices (let your imagination run wild within the scope of the game concept) but ... well let's just say I think you should really get a feel for Lady P. - lovely aristocratic Victorian lady that she is.
Hope to see you in the game soon.
