In my opinion, it is right for humans to raise and to kill animals, but there are specific animals that human are allowed to eat such as animals raised in poultry farms . In other hand, it is wrong to kill animals that turned to be our partners or bestfriend such as dogs and cats, birds and so many other animals. This is why the goverment has a law for prohibiting the killings of animals especially to those who are endangered. Humans are the greatest being created by God but not all things in this world humans can do or have.
