Massive thanks to everyone who submitted a logo to our contest. It was really close with the top entries but we've settled on this stunner of a design by Hive account@jedamez that hits the spot in many areas. I'm truly thankful to have an awesome group that is growing quickly and to have a sweet logo makes it all that much more official.

We chose this logo for a few reason. Firstly it is very readable and instantly feels we are a strong, tight-knit community art group. We loved the 'A' for art as well as the 'A' combining both a paintbrush and an easel. The paint splotches on the Steemit logo was perfect. We also liked how even if people use other interfaces instead of Steemit, it's not 'too much' of a Steemit logo, it still works as a painting palette. Basically we enjoyed everything about it and I'm sure you'll all agree it's solid logo for our group to grow forward with.


2nd and 3rd place came very close! For starters, we had Hive account@zeroooc enter but as he is now a Steem Artists Moderator we elected to remove his entry. Also my brother Hive account@mrfocus entered, unbeknownst to me, with the intention of getting some creative juices going within the community, so his entry was also removed. Massive thanks to both of you as they were both stellar designs.

So 2nd and 3rd place were voted on by myself Hive account@spaceginger, Hive account@jillustrations and Hive account@zeroooc and these are the two we chose.

Note that all winners will be paid their prize SBD by Hive account@spaceginger as Steem Artists is brand new and currently lacks the funds. All proceeds raised by Steem Artists will be put straight into SP to raise our voting power for group members.


I would like to say a huge thanks to everyone who participated. As an artist I understand how much goes into creating a unique idea and submitting an entry. I hope you all got some good upvotes and resteems on your blogs, if you created a post about your entry (which is always a great idea as it's a win either way then). I will always remember you guys and girls as people who gave a huge effort to help create a top notch logo design for this group and look forward to promoting you all on upcoming posts.
