Last summer we went to one of the beautiful islands of Camarines Norte. We stayed for 2 days and 1 night. We had a lot of activities such as kayaking, snorkeling, island hoping and the trekking. We went for trekking at 6 in the morning. It was a long walk and I noticed 2 dogs with us. The sun was already up when we reached the peak and from the top is the breathtaking view of this paradise. The green forest, the blue water and sky, the cool wind and the peaceful surroundings is a real paradise. Everyone had their great poses for the photos. When we we're about to leave, this white dog walks toward us. We did not expect this dog would come with us on the mountain. While we were busy taking pictures we didn't noticed that our tour guide already walked down the mountain with our colleagues. We saw this dog waiting for us from a distance.
We continue walking down the mountain when this dog stopped to drink water. We waited for him and while he's resting we got the chance to take this photo. After a while. we continue walking on our way to the site. We're almost lost but this dog guide us to the right way. Looking at his healthy body, he seems used of trekking everyday to guide tourists. He know the way very well and he's a great tour guide. He made our trekking adventure very memorable and how I wish I could bring him home. But with his life in the island where he can freely play and eat gives me the peace of mind that he is in good hands.
