Happy March Madness everyone! Granted, this isn’t the type of March Madness we usually see, but it’s good to change things up from time to time. That being said, I’m about sick of this corona virus shit already. I mean, I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again. You can call me a conspiracy theorist and you’d be right. I mean, I don’t necessarily “believe” a lot of conspiracy theories, but I don’t not believe in them either. In any case, I think it’s just a bit coincidental that this just happened to hit Washington right before the primary, which incidentally has still not been decided last I heard. Somehow they always manage to get the votes counted right away whenever Biden wins. But I’m off on a bit of a tangent I suppose. Or am I? All I’m saying is that when people are on edge they tend to favor the status quo a bit more. They’re desperately seeking some semblance of stability, so they’re gonna go with what they know. I’m just waiting to see how many of the people currently calling Biden out as a child molester will fall right in line behind him after he “wins” the nomination?
Sadly most of them I’m sure. Because most people are sheep.. Easily herded. The media says “jump” and they don’t even bother to say “How high?”. The media says there’s a new virus that might kill a few people, they buy all the toilet paper. Just all of it. The President declares a national emergency and none of the people who hate him seem to have any argument with it. Meanwhile here in Washing the governor orders schools and parks to close and bans gatherings of more than 250 people. I mean, that’s kind of good news to me, because it means no sportsball games are happening. But what’s next? What else are people willing to just stand for? Putting everyone on house arrest? Forced vaccinations?
I’ve lived through multiple pandemics in the last couple of decades, and this is the first one that’s actually had an impact on my life outside of just being irritating. . Not the virus itself mind you. The virus hasn’t troubled me in the least. It’s everyone’s reaction to it that scares me. Everybody needs to chill the fuck out and accept that at some point, something is going to kill you. Especially all you fucking weak minded frightened liberals who worship at the alter of FDR but seem to have forgotten what he had to say about fear. Just relax, wash your hands, cover your mouth when you cough then wash your hands again. Have some chicken noodle soup, wash it down with some Vernors ginger ale and say “Fuck It!” Before it fucks you.
