That is our house in front of the one with the fire hose, the one with a rusted roof being sprayed by the Town firemen in an effort to disinfect the streets from the supposed Corona virus.
That is the street I grew up with, spent time with friends, playing, paraded with our Christmas lantern when I was little, where I had an accident while still learning how to ride my bike, watched catholic processions, village varsity basketball team, the self-flagellants during Black Friday although now it doesn't interest me anymore.
But this is the first time an activity like this ever happened, like whole streets getting disinfected by Town council so that we can get a safer streets at least than not doing anything at all.
The corona virus is a very serious matter and people should just obey the authorities so as not to cause problems like infections of a greater magnitude because we have to learn that in italy for example the deaths are increasing and it is said by the health authorities in the US alone they will get 200,000 deaths which os really frightening considering that USA is far more capable of doing much better than my country because my country is just poor enough not to be able to sustain supporting its citizens with all means like humanitarian especially medical.
In fact just more than a week the major hospitals declared that they are already full and could not accept more patients. So there is still a deep worry in my mind, I can endure the restrictions but if my dialysis would get affected then it will be a problem indeed and I do not want that to happen. May God help us all through this.
