It is my hope that on April 16th or so the lockdown status here in my neck of the woods would be lifted off but I think it will only happen with the go signal of the Department Of Health (DOH) which is the authority to say if things are on the clear already.
But there is in the back of my mind that it could not happen right away and we might get extended with this sad situation where I can't even get my needed stuff delivered in my doorstep because the delivery company is in locked-away too.
I did ordered some vitamin C but it says in the delivery date that it will be delivered two weeks from now. That is too late and I might suffer with vitamin C withdrawal if I will not be able to take some since I am megadosing it for health reasons.
The prices of goods also had gone up so I am always with a deep apprehension to buy stuffs plus with a debit card and then it will not get delivered as usual, that is that effect of the lockdown that I do not like. But of course I understand because delivering goods is a sensitive issue because the delivery guys could get sick from meeting a lot of people when doing their work.
The only thing that I like about this lockdown was the very light traffic on the road and a ghost town silence at night time especially when we go for my dialysis in the wee hours of the morning. You can just get a peaceful sleep at daytime even though it is so hot now here in my place.
Anyway that is just my concern, not being able to buy my needed stuffs at the stores even online. As for the vitamin C that I needed at least I have something that I can take only once a day or just maybe three to four time per week so that I can extend the use of my 20 table Vitamin C tablets.
As for the rubbing alcohol we might distill the rhum we still have in this house if we cannot anymore buy. It will definitely be hard for me because I am using rubbing alcohol all the time to clean my face and body because I couldn't easily go to the wash room anymore. May God help us all.
