At least seven cases of COVID-19 in Alberta and 20 in British Columbia are linked to the Pacific Dental Conference in Vancouver that was attended by nearly 15,000 people, including more than 1,200 Albertans.
Dr. Deena Hinshaw, Alberta's chief medical officer of health is starting to show signs of negligence in her title. It wasn’t until Thursday, almost two weeks after the conference concluded and four days after an industry advisory was issued, that AHS was able to contact the individual who is now in self-isolation. Still not much information is being provided to the public about the movements of professionals, not children, from this dental conference. Nothing being done to track the dental professionals, no info provided to the public, should Albertans stop going to the dentist?
Alberta Health Services has confirmed at least one attendee failed to self-isolate after being directed to do so and an infectious disease expert says determining the actions of all who attended would be next to impossible.
Dr. Hinshaw said Wednesday seven positive COVID-19 tests in Alberta have been linked to the conference, with more expected to be identified. On Friday, AHS officials declined to say how many of the province’s 195 cases are now linked to the Vancouver event.
It took Dr. Hinshaw over 2 weeks to inform the public or recommend quarantine for the attendees of the dental conference, she needs to be reprimanded or revealed of her title to say the least, that is an insult to any other professional in the space to have such delayed reactions and announcements, its almost as low as China's approach to control the flow of information...

The couple along with a group of exchange students or interns who are all evicted from the Winnipeg facility based on suspicions of being Chinese intelligence officers.
The couple has traveled between Wuhan Institute of Virology & The Winnipeg National Microbiology Laboratory multiple times on Business Visa travel permits. This is concerning as the Wuhan facility was not cleared for level 4 pathogens until 2017, China may have violated these regulations.
