There can not be any system while there is corruption. There needs to be checks and balances. Neither 'free market' nor government can be trusted to provide the answer. People are easily manipulated and that is also an issue. Surprisingly there are a host of systems that are feasible, but none are likely when people are ignorant and don't have basic education and services.
Any talk of capitalism vs. socialism is a primitive illusion, it is a shell game. Someone said yesterday that "Certainty is the Enemy", that is true, whenever we fall into dogma, ideology and flag waving we are damned. People crave money, leaders, and basic rights... all have to co-exist in a world stage,,, it's a conundrum that requires trust over fear, and because of that is terribly perplexing.
