Cover a Steemian update (04/08/2018) - New entries , Song pool update.

Hello Steemit!

We are back! After a week of hiatus because there were no entries and also because I could not record myself during the week , been having crazy days so I've not been able to upload as much content as I would normally do but anyways.. this week was fire! We had 4 entries ! For this initiative that is a big number considering we only have 1 or 2 entries per week! but.. this is not about quantity anyways! A huge thanks for those who submitted a song this week , this initiative keeps running because all of you :) .

-Let's Join the Hive account@passion-ground mega collaboration for Open Mic!

We all know our man Hive account@passion-ground here in the music community! He's always around supporting everyone with his input, if there is someone that has a huge love for music is him! Well , now he is putting together a Special Open Mic Mashup to celebrate the 2 year run of the Open Mic! What a Milestone , of course I onboarded the musical train early on but we are still in need of more participants to make this an epic entrance! So, please come over! - Let's use Dtube!

After joining and chatting with a few people over at their discord server I was suggested to use the Hive account@dtube app for video submissions. They have a very active curation team and are always in the look of cool musical content, if you decide to submit your cover a steemian video through dtube I strongly recommend you to present yourself at the start of the song , a simple '' Hello , I am _____ and this is a video for Dtube'' will let them know it is not a re-upload. Maybe you'll catch their vote ! I'll personally promote the submissions over at their server :D . I'd like to thank Hive account@reseller for explaining this to me over at discord! follow his channel for some cool news on what's happening over the Steemit world and also if you are into Steem Monsters ;). Don't miss out!

-Join the Hive account@openmic curation trail.

As you may know , there is an account used for voting all valid entries to the open mic contest, this is a way to give some rewards to all the participants and help add some incentive to the music community. By joining the trail you will be upvoting all the valid entries in the contest , helping fellow musicians and also earning some curation money while you sleep! good deal huh?

So first we had the great Hive account@davidfar covering another awesome guy Hive account@lk666 , I've been following Hive account@lk666 for a while and always stumble upon his dark and deep tunes that I love , being a fan of heavy metal myself I kinda feel that from his acoustic and ''softer'' side , that spirit is still present ! Hive account@davidfar did a great job on this one , keeping it to the original but adding his own flavor .I loved this. Btw Hive account@davidfar is also a great guitar player and ninja producer .. so.. follow him for some musical treats!

Wooo! Hive account@beto14 is at it again! Actually this song is the first one I know he submitted for this initiative when we just started, he was using another account that for some reason was lost , so he came back later with a new user .. and also redid this song :) . But not just played it again , he went full on with production on this one as he has been doing in his last entries ! Dear friend and awesome Hive account@soundlegion came back this week with another cover of another dear friend and awesome songwriter and cookie expert Hive account@paintingangels ( open up the hug pit! ) ! This was so refreshing , Bonnie just made it her own like no one's business in this acoustic performance , it felt as it was her own song :) . I really loved this ''last minute'' cover Bonnie performed , it felt natural , sincere and yes... the feel was there.. totally ! Thank you once again Hive account@soundlegion for sharing this :D !
