So street photography is a not the easiest thing when you are trying not to leave your apartment. But we do live on a relatively major road for pedestrians in Melbourne, Australia and we do have a balcony to stand on, and I do have a big old 300mm lens I can put on my camera so lets see what we can see.
Now it was sunny here of the weekend, the type of day that would, under normal circumstances have seen people in beer gardens drinking beer and having picnics in parks, but instead we just get couples out for their 'let's get out of the house and go for a walk' stroll where they interact with no one.
And they have to mate their summer dresses with facemasks:
Or maybe the look is a bit more street, but still with those facemasks:
But there is one things which is ruling the streets - yellow food delivery bikes, I swear there are more of these little yellow bikes piloted by out of work hospitality workers than there are cars at the moment.
This guy is living on the edge - no facemask, sandals on a bike - crazy man, crazy.
