After a very busy last week, full of interesting happening and meeting with my friends, the end of week was a quite bad. As you can see, I didn't post anything for a few days. Every time I started writing a post, I didn’t have the strength to finish it.
Like I said, last week ended pretty badly. I started coughing, and I was coughing all day at Sunday. At first I thought it was because of the dust in the gym where we play volleyball I thought it might be some kind of reaction of my body to the workout because I wasn’t in shape. But...
Monday
The day started when I went for a medical examination for sports reasons. It is necessary to do an examination in order for the coach to register us as players and to get a license for the upcoming volleyball league. When I returned home, I felt very weak and went to bed to sleep. I started to feel muscle pain and from time to time I felt cold, so I decided to take my temperature. The temperature was 37.4 but as night came, the temperature rose to 38.5. Feeling very broken and without energy, I drank Fervex - a medicine to lower the temperature and went to bed.
Tuesday
Even if I didn't have a temperature next day and and I coughed less often, I decided to go to a Covid ambulance and do a COVID-19 test. When the nurse pushed that swab stick into my nose, I think she touched my sinus hahaha. It lasted like an eternity and it was very uncomfortable, so I start "crying". 🤣
It only took me 5 minutes to wait and find out the results. The test showed that I'm POSITIVE on COVID-19.Piece of s***. But thank God I don't have a temperature and nothing hurts me anymore. The only thing that bothers me is the feeling that my head will explode from coughing and fatigue in my eyes, as well as the need to sleep constantly.
The doctor prescribed me the necessary therapy and now I have to be in isolation for 2 weeks. Luckily, Dad was vaccinated and he doesn't have to be isolated.
So, here's the medicaments I must using now.
Vitamins C, D, zinc, antibiotic and probiotic and syrup for easier expectoration
Now the only task I have is to rest and be home. I will visit doctor again next wednesday on control. I will use that time to prepare for the exams, and I hope that my health condition will allow it and that the headaches will disappear soon. I have informed the faculty and the professors I need to take the exams and they will meet me when I recover to take the exams so that I can enroll in the last year of the faculty. Also, I hope that after COVID, I will be able to return to volleyball without a long break.
