Today’s video is basically me ranting about complete tools having a go at the supermarket staff during lockdown. There’s been a number of reports of people just being vile towards these poor people. One person even threw a basket at the checkout operator before storming out of the store.
What people don’t see to get into their thick skulls is that rushing certain products is going to drive up the cost of those products. It’s basic supply and demand so stockpiling stuff is a moronic move.
I’m not happy about not being able to buy pies either. This was lunch.
While I’m having a rant can someone tell me what the deal is with Mars selling a “2 Pack” of Mars bars when those bars are only 3/4 the size of a proper bar? You’re not getting 2 Mars bars you’re at best getting 1.5 Mars bars. I seriously dislike this practice.
Rant over... for now.
Whoever came up with the idea for the teddy bears in the windows... freaking genius. Been seeing a lot around town. One of our guys hates them but he’s just a grumpy old fart.
Quite liked this one.
The worst thing is that we’ve got three down at the moment. One is in his 70s so we can’t use him due to government mandate. The other falls into the “at risk” category due to being over 60, asthmatic, and has diabetes. The third has a cold but has been tested for coronavirus. Either way he’s out of action for the time being. Hopefully his test comes back negative. Time will tell.
In the meantime I’m having to take over his run tomorrow.
