Hello steemain, Today i want to share the information with you about the Pak-China optical fiber.
This massive project is said to be a part of the $65 Billion CPEC (China Pakistan Economic Corridor) project between China & Pakistan.
The Pakistan-China Fiber Optic Project is an under-construction 820 kilometer long optical fiber cable being laid between the Khunjerab Pass on the China-Pakistan border and the city of Rawalpindi.

As we knows currently Pakistan internet traffic goes through global internet fiber cable.
Since the network does not run through U.S, Europe and India, the connectivity through this fiber optic cable is deemed to be safer.
As shown in the above image this fiber passing through northern areas of the Pakistan which is hilly area of the Pakistan
and currently don't have 3G and 4G High speed internet connectivity after the completion of this project these area will have the better internet connectivity.
This fiber optic also provide redundant internet link to Pakistan. In case sea fibers cut sill Pakistan has internet link through china.
