Mi nombre es Joanna Infante, soy Ingeniero de Petróleo, trabaje parte de mi vida como Ingeniero, sin embargo la situación de mi pais me hizo buscar una alternativa de como ganarme la vida.
Asi conoci mi pasión por crear.
Todo inicio en la oficina, estaba reunida con unos compañeros de trabajo y les cuento que queria hacer invitaciones para bodas, y una amiga me conto que ella habia comprado una maquina de corte que me podria ayudar, y me recomendo comprarla. Luego, fui muy emocionada a contarle a mi esposo, sin embargo, por la situacion economica que teniamos en ese momento no era viable hacer ese gasto, y en eso pense en conseguir un inversor.
Primer Objetivo: Buscar un inversor
El unico que sabia que me podia apoyar en esta locura, se llama "Mi Papá", asi que arme un plan maestro para presentarle mi idea, lo llame y lo convenci de que el debia poner el capital y yo mi cero conocimiento por crear. Y lo convenci, mi papá me ayudo a crear lo que en ese entonces llamamos JJdiseños, por nuestros nombres. Ahora tenia casi todo, la maquina, materiales que necesitaba.
Segundo Objetivo: Buscar clientes
Creo que de todo lo que pase esta fue la etapa mas complicada de todas, yo me decia tengo todo pero necesito a quien venderle, asi que investigando, decidi cambiar un poco mis objetivos y cree algunas piezas para el cumpleaños del hijo de una compañera de oficina, sin compromiso de pago y asi obtuve mi primer trabajo.😊

This is how I discovered my passion for scrapbooking.
It all started in the office. I was meeting with some co-workers, and I told them that I wanted to make invitations for weddings, because I had just gotten married and saw a business opportunity there. A friend of mine told me that she had bought a cutting machine that could help me, and she recommended me to buy it. I was very excited to tell my husband about the idea, however, due to the economic situation we were going through at that time, we couldn’t afford to buy the machine. Then. I thought of finding an investor.
First Objective: Find an investor
I knew that the only one who could support me in this madness is called "My Dad", so I put together a master plan to present my idea to him. I called him and proposed that he should put up the capital and I should put up my nonexistent experience in the area. And I convinced him! My dad helped me to create what we called JJdesigns back then, after our names. He had almost everything: the machine, the materials he needed, and a great desire to learn. Now, only the customers were missing.
Second Objective: Find customers
I think that among everything I went through, this was the most complicated stage of all. I told myself: I have everything, but I need someone to sell my creations. So doing some research, I decided to change my goals a bit and made some decorations for the birthday of an office colleague’s son, for free. This is how I got my first client.😊

Esta primera experiencia fue fenomenal, ver a su hijo enamorado de su decoración fue el mejor pago que pude recibir, OJO; mi amiga me pago algo por el trabajo que habia hecho.
Y para no hacer el cuento largo, asi empezo mi pasion por el scrapbook.
Mi Objetivo en HIVE
Mi principal objetivo, es mostrar mi trabajo como crafter, mi pasion por criar a mi mayor logro "Mi Hijo", ser esposa, ser migrante, como aguantar el frio, mostrar una parte de mi vida y compartir mi pasion por diseñar y crear todo tipo de cosas en papel. Espero les guste, y aprendamos juntos 🙂
Como llegué a la comunidad de HIVE
Mi pequeña sobrina que ya es parte de esta comunidad me la recomendó. Ella dibuja hermoso, tiene un gran contenido. Creo que de alguna u otra forma nos conectamos por el amor al arte. Síganla!

My main objective is to show my work as a crafter, my passion for raising my greatest achievement "My Son", being a wife, being a migrant, show you part of Canada where I currently live, and sharing my love for designing and creating all kinds of things.
