One of the things I really enjoy about the part I live in is the huge amount of natural places there are to visit. Since I have easy access to the countryside, I don't go often to new places, which isn't really that smart. After visiting the reserve located in Cerro Huemules and seeing the huge diversity of plants in the place I knew I had to start going out more to observe different ecosystems than what I'm used to.

Como tengo fácil acceso al campo, no voy con frecuencia a lugares nuevos, lo cual no es tan inteligente. Luego de visitar la reserva ubicada en Cerro Huemules y ver la enorme diversidad de plantas en el lugar supe que tenía que empezar a salir más a observar diferentes ecosistemas de lo que estoy acostumbrado.

Chiliotrichum diffusum, also known as "romerillo", which would translate to something like "lesser rosemary". It has a nice smell though not like rosemary, and there seems to be some evidence about it's antioxidant properties. Apparently this plant was once used by the ona natives.
