Reading passage: Matthew 11:25-30
And Jesus prayed this prayer: "O Father, Lord of heaven and earth, thank you for hiding the truth from those who think themselves so wise, and for revealing it to little children.
26 Yes, Father, for it pleased you to do it this way! . . .
27 "Everything has been entrusted to me by my Father. Only the Father knows the Son, and the Father is known only by the Son and by those to whom the Son reveals him.
28 Come to me and I will give you rest--all of you who work so hard beneath a heavy yoke.
29 Wear my yoke--for it fits perfectly--and let me teach you; for I am gentle and humble, and you shall find rest for your souls;
30 "for I give you only light burdens."
The unsaved soul is under the burden of sin but when he turns to the Lord, he received deliverance. The invitation from the saviour is clear.
Come unto me all ur that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.
In the midst of a turbulent world, one can find rest and peace, the source is Jesus.
Is your heart burdened with sin? You can find the rest of God in Christ Jesus today. Turn to the Lord and ask Him to take control of your life. You cannot less others to the Lord if you do not know Him.
Get aquatinted today. The unsaved is under darkness but the goodnews is , such person can encounter light and life in Christ. No matter how dear you are in sin, Jesus has paid for you and His blood can cleanse you and restore all that you have lost.
There is a call to rest for the unbeliever, answer that call today.
