Which locality would you like to live in?

There are many countries that have people of multiple races, religions and cultures.

These people live either in mixed localities where people of different religions and cultures live and then there are segregated localities where people stay of same culture and religion live together but stay separated from people of different ones. Which type of locality would you prefer? Which one do you think is safer?
