"Sammy" was eyeing a flower for his girlfriend. It's the Friday squirrel party tonight and he wants to impress her!
But the branches are thin and they cannot hold his weight and so he had to make a plan.
Now he cannot just give her any flower, else he could easily just picked one down below in the garden, but he knows that she likes the "Double Hibiscus" flowers and if he could get this one for her then he is guaranteed to score!
"Tammy", his girlfriend was going up to her room in the palm tree with a nut, to go and do her hair for the party!
Meanwhile Sammy was testing the branches and eying the flower!
Right, here we go, as he was doing the dangle hang!
Stretching down with his entire length to get closer to the flower!
Now this is interesting, he knows that he cannot pick the flower, so he pushes it!
Bang! The flower dropped and he was down like a flash to disappear with it!
Okay, end of the joke, as the squirrels love to eat the center bud of the Double Hibiscus flowers. In our early days here, I thought that the neighbor was picking the flowers, because I saw five at night and the next morning there were only two.
Not so, as I eventually saw the squirrels sitting up in the tree and eating the flower buds.
So, here you have it, squirrels eat flower buds lol!
