My daughter is growing up and leaving the blue jeans almost as new so I took one that was too short to make her a panty with a Minnie Mouse motif. Minnie Mouse is Mickey's eternal black mouse girlfriend, who is currently wearing a red dress with white dots and yellow shoes. She is one of my daughter's favorite characters, and now she doesn't want to take off her panties.
The Materials to be Used
Among the materials to be used are my daughter's blue jean that was short, two threads (black and red), rubber band, knitting needle, scissors, some stones or something decorative that you have.
Development
- We put in the length we want it to fit and cut out, the two pieces we cut out will be used to make the front and back of the panties.
- Front side
- We sew the pieces to the pants.
- We cut the back off as a triangle. And we sew on the pants.
- We measured to make the strips, in my case I made it out of rubber, but if you have any left over from the ones you cut out you can make them out of blue jean.
Minie Mouse Face
Head
Start with the black thread, performing the following steps:
- V-1. Make a magic ring with two chains and 11 high stitches, close with a sliding stitch.
- V-2. Knit 2 chains and a high stitch in the same hole, make 1 increase in each stitch until finishing the turn with 24 stitches, close with a slip stitch
- V-3. Knit 2 chains, 1 increase in the next stitch, 1 high stitch, 1 increase until the end of the lap, close with a sliding stitch.
- V-4. Knit 2 chains, 1 high stitch, 1 increase, 2 high stitches, 1 increase until the end, close with a sliding stitch.
- V-5. Knit 2 chains, 2 high stitches, 1 raise, 3 high stitches, raise until the end of the lap and close with a slip stitch.
- V-6. Knit 2 chains, 3 high stitches, 1 raise, 4 high stitches, 1 raise until the end of the lap and close with a slip stitch.
- V-7. Knit 2 chains, 4 high stitches, 1 raise, 5 high stitches, 1 raise until the end of the lap and close with a slip stitch.
If you want to make it bigger you can make other laps.
Ears
For the elaboration of the ears we made two black ones.
- V-1. Magic ring with twelve (12) high points and close with a sliding stitch.
- V-2. Knit 2 chain stitches and 1 high stitch in the same hole, make increase in each stitch and close with sliding stitch. Obtaining 24 stitches.
- V-3. Knit 2 chains, 1 high stitch in the same hole, 1 raise, 1 high stitch, 1 raise repeat until you are 7 to 10 stitches short.
- V-4. Weave 1 chain and turn, 1 high stitch, 1 raise, 2 high stitches, 1 raise to where you started the previous turn. Close and leave sewing thread.
- We sew the ears and in the color fuchsia or red the one of your preference we do half stitch all around the edge.
Loop
To finish we sew the bow and sew the mini-mouse piece to the panties.
- I put some decorative details on them you can also put some glass.
