What's up everybody! Merry Christmas to y'all. I hope you are all doing well. How is everybody's Christmas?
December 25 is the day when Jesus Christ was born which is why everybody is celebrating Christmas. From this statement alone, we should be grateful and feel blessed because God gave His only son Jesus to be able to save us from the sins we made. Jesus gave us many lessons and realizations to learn from.
However, Christmas does not necessarily mean that you need to have a belief or certain standards to feel that it is that time of the year again. Anyone can celebrate Christmas even if they do not believe in Christ or in any other rituals, religion, belief, etc. It can be celebrated depending on how you and your family celebrate it.
We all have our own beliefs as to why we are celebrating on this day. In some cases, this symbolizes the coming of Santa Claus who will give gifts to good children and will skip those who were naughty.
Santa Claus is also one of those who make Christmas time alive because they give joy to everyone especially to children. Every family or community has there own Santa Claus.
BUT
Do you ever feel like not being happy during Christmas? Based on my own experience, life was way better when we are kids. Don't get me wrong, it is fun to be an adult because you get to have your own money, mingle with friends, and buy what you want but being a child is way more fun. Life was way more simple back then. You don't need to worry the bills, insurance, work, etc. All you got to do is to play, eat, study, sleep and repeat the process.
Am I also the only one who feel like everything is my fault? I feel like such a mess whenever Christmas is coming. It is like I am happy because it is Christmas but at the same time sad because I did something wrong. Instead of being happy inside and out, I only feel the happiness for the sake of not being caught that I am suffering inside.
What do you want for Christmas?
People always tell me that I should be grateful because I have everything that I want and need while some people need to work hard just to afford the things they need/want. I just want to clear things out that I AM BEYOND GRATEFUL for everything that I have and I DO NOT ENVY OTHER PEOPLE.
All I want for Christmas is an emotional support from my parents, genuine happiness and for my sadness to be away. Praying and I am hopeful that everything will fall into place.
