It is through action that we find passion. We have to be tasting, smelling, and touching, instead of just watching and listening. We have to step out from our place of comfort and security and jump into the turmoil of daring and risk.
Passion is like sweat, it comes when we push our limits; when we are too busy to remember what we don’t know and we just play.
Remember that feeling of vertigo in the pit of your stomach? How many of your greatest experiences can you trace back to a moment when you had the idea to try something you had never done before, and you just did it?
Looking back, I know that my best decisions have been the offshoot of flying by the seat of my pants for just long enough to allow my curiosity and imagination to outweigh fear and doubt. Because there’s no way to know what we’re gonna love if we don’t try.
