Shahid Khan Shahid Afridi or Shahid Afridi (Urdu: شاہد افریدی, Pashto: شاھد اپریدی; born 01 March 1980) is a former Pakistani cricketer and former captain of the Pakistan national cricket team. He is also known as Bum Bum Afridi. Afridi played 27 Tests, 349 ODI matches and 56 T20 internationals for Pakistan from 1996 to 2011. He made his Test debut against Kenya on 2 October 1996 and against ODIs against Australia on October 22, 1998. As a successful all-rounder, Afridi is regarded for his consistent bowling and aggressive batting style. Afridi was the world record holder for the fastest ODI century in 37 deliveries and he has the honor of scoring the most sixes in ODI history.
