South Africa's explosive batsman Ab De Villiers has taken retirement from cricket but people will never forget his different style of play. AB de Villiers is famous in the cricket world based on aggressive batting and sweep shot. Their fans are often the lamps of Sweep Shots, that's why they are called 'Master 360 Diviliaries'. But now maybe no other batsmen can offer entertainment just like a shot. 34-year-old AB de Villiers is the only record in international cricket, which will be the only dream for the batsmen to break.
AB de Villiers has the record of scoring the fastest century in ODIs. On 18 January 2015 against the West Indies, he scored centuries in 31 balls in Johannesburg. AB de Villiers scored this record knocking out New Zealand's Corey Anderson. Corey Anderson hit a century in 36 balls in ODIs against the West Indies on January 1, 2014. It was felt that Corey Anderson would not break this record easily, but AB de Villiers has scored a century after a year.
Apart from the fastest century, AB de Villiers has the world record of fastest half-century and 150 runs in ODIs. He made 50 runs in 16 balls. Earlier, Sanath Jayasuriya, Thaisara Perera and Martin Guptill scored quick half-centuries in 17-17 balls.
The record for the fastest 150 runs in ODIs is also his name. AB de Villiers scored an unbeaten 162 in 66 balls in Sydney against the West Indies on 27 February during the 2015 World Cup. In the meantime, he scored 150 runs of just 64 balls, which is a world record. Earlier, Australian opener Shane Watson scored 150 runs in 83 balls against Bangladesh in 2011.
