New Delhi: The Indian Cricket Board has banned All-rounder Yousaf Pathan for 5 months due to violation of doping laws.
According to the Indian media, the punishment has been applied from August 15, 2017 to January 14, 2018, however, the BCCI has directed the Barvada Cricket Association to not select the all-rounder in the squad for the Ranchi Trophy Not be done.
During the Domestic T-Twenty event of New Delhi on March 16, 2017, Yousaf Pathan tested under anti-doping test, sampling test showed that he used the banned substance, charged on October 27. It is clear that Yousaf Pathan has represented India in the 57 ODI matches, 22 T-Twenty Internationals from 2008 to 2012, when he played the first One Day match against Pakistan in 2008 in Dhaka.
