What happens if you're a master in martial arts when you go to prison? Are you going to be at the top of the 'food chain'? After all, you would be a very dangerous person and surely no one would dare mess with you. The answer may depend on what you did?
Meet Daryell Dickson Meneses Xavier a Brazilian jiu-jitsu grand master; all around a very well decorated champ in his discipline. Unfortunately for him, he had allegedly raped and murdered his 1 year old stepson. To be fair he claimed innocence... but then again they all do. I doesn't matter, crimes like these are the most despised in prisons all over the world and they have their ways of punishing their own.
To end the nationwide man-hunt, Daryell decided to turn himself into Brazilian authorities who promptly put him in prison so he could await his fate in court. Unfortunately, his cellmates had other plans for him. It is said that about 20 inmates beat, stabbed, and anally raped him for several hours. Each, taking their turn to run a 'train' on him. They worked him hard, so hard he eventually passed out. He came to on a hospital gurney after having his wrecked butt hole stitched back together. He seemed OK, so the guards naturally thought it was a good idea to send him back to prison... wouldn't you know it, the same gang of 20 broke down his door and once again beat and raped him; this time even harder than the last.
Off to the hospital he went once more to be re-stitched. This time around they kept him in isolation for his protection.
While there is no pity for people who harm children, this guy had not been formally convicted of any crime. Prison justice is swift and harsh - whether you're guilty or not. Thank your lucky stars you live in the USA where you're guaranteed a fair trial, right?
