A Venezuelan in crisis. Help me !!!
Currently the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela is going through one of the most critical moments in its history. On the one hand, the government with its controls and bad decisions have contributed through the last few years to the accelerated deterioration of institutions and relations with countries throughout the continent. Needless to say, the US government has imposed sanctions that go beyond helping increase poverty and shortages by not being able to negotiate freely with all the countries of the region. It is to say that people have seen a detriment to their quality of life. The economy is at the most destroyed point in many years. A kilo of meat that can one day cost 1000BS the following week can already be traced back to 2000Bs and to the next 4000Bs. For its part, our minimum wage is 1000Bs plus a food bonus of 1500Bs, reaching a total of 2500Bs. Representing this a total monthly income of less than 2 dollars. The question is, how do we survive this situation?
Many people have seen the need to leave the country because they can not stand the situation. With the regret of having to leave their family and friends of a lifetime have decided to start looking for improvements for them with the hope of someday being able to return and rediscover.
But not all of us have the facility to gather a ticket to take our bags and migrate towards a better future. How we do? It is sad to see how the days go by and the situation only gets worse. People who do not get transportation to go to their jobs. People who must make long hours of queue to access a single food that is not regularly available. Life goes by and politicians continue to "fight for their ideals."
It is sad not to have how to get out of this sea of thoughts, of this hunger that overwhelms us. I hope that everyone who has been able to come out will achieve their dreams. For my part, I will continue to dream of joining them at some point.
