My grandmother taught me how to crochet when I was so young that I barely remember learning the basics. I must have been just under 5 when I started making chains. Granny was a hard woman to please and if it wasn't done right, well, you did it again. I can't tell you how many projects I had to "frog" because she found a mistake that at the time, I couldn't see.
I've been crocheting now for over 3 decades and I'm happy to say that I've move past just making chains.
