Canada Approves first Blockchain ETF
Ontario Securities Commission bites back at the recent demand for the publics thirst in crypto. According to a representative, every conversation lately leads to 'bitcoin and blockchain'. In response they filed to launch blockchain funds. The US market already has one, under the ticker name LEGR, Canada's own First Trust firm will call theirs BLCK.
The fact that it was accepted is big, and I'm excited to see where this all goes. How will Canada embrace crypto? And how will that influence the market?

Regulators Probe Coincheck's Hack Compensation claims
Following up on the claim that the $530Mln worth of tokens stolen by Coinchecks security flaws, regulators of course are now stepping in. The FSA sent Coincheck an administrative order to file what they were going to do and change to fix the security flaws, and make sure they do not happen again.
This doesn't seem to be fulfilled, yet. But after the on-site check in might be less needed.
The swift nature of coinchecks team could be the saving grace, if they lag behind.. So too quickly could be thier, funding, legality and customer loyalty.
