That's awesome! I was at a similar position last year where I actively decided I didn't need friends in order to be able to afford retirement (it's still a few decades to go, but the possibility that it is impossible really got me thinking).
Mapped out a retirement plan to play out over 33 years. Broke it down into monthly milestones. Aim low, always overachieve.
That turned my life into get to work, get off work, watch a few episodes with the wife, go to bed, rinse and repeat. Not meeting with friends meant I could become super disciplined, and I'm happy to say I'm already 13 months ahead of schedule.
Up to this point, you see how little joy my life has. Stumbled into GoMining. Wary at first, threw some cash I wouldn't miss at it. I knew crypto was going to be a major part of peoples' lives in the coming 1-2 generations, perhaps this could be my first step to a deeper understanding.
It ended up allowing me to join a great community and, recently, I know I found a new hobby. Like you, I spent days and days looking into crypto, trying to understand what it is. My crypto days are still young but already filled with excitement.
Here's to a fruitful, emotionally fulfilling and profitable journey, cheers!
