(Advice please) Is the drop in the crypto market cap concerning?

Hi everyone, I've been doing some crypto investing and research with small amounts from the beginning of this year.

Granted I am a bit of a noob and I'm trying to maintain keeping up with the news as it happens but with like 780+ currencies on the market, it can become a large task but, I'm sure it'll be worth it in the end.

I wanted to know if the rise and drop of billions in the market cap is a large concern or if it's just the natural process of how these things work?
