Crypto's cumbersome space will slow adoption.

So ShapeShift has been stuck on "awaiting deposit" for awhile now. I'm just trying to swap a little Litecoin for Ripple.

I can't imagine how crazy this space would be if it were actually user friendly. I know that Coinbase (and many other exchanges) have seen exponential gains in account growth, but I imagine many of these new accounts are sitting dormant because people just loose patience with the process.

This space is has some design issues to work through.
