Season Summary: DEC Earnings and Total Chest Rewards

The recent updates implemented by the Splinterlands team to the reward system has really improved the amount and value of chest rewards and also increased the amount of difficulty and time one has to allot in order to obtain them through the use of rshares and focus points. Unlike previous seasons that you only need to win 3- 5 battles of the specific element to have your daily chests by which the number is capped by your league and season chest which is decided by what league you ended up as the season ends, the new system, no matter what your league is, can received up to 30 daily chest as long as you have the required focus points by winning the battles using the focus element while you can have up to 150 season chest as long as you have the required rshare points after winning battles regardless of the elements used and you do not need to maintain a certain league at the end of season to received them. So, even if your league falls to Bronze from Diamond because you were unable to have the Collection Power to maintain it, you will still receive the rewards where the quality of chest is determined by the highest league you attained during the previous season but please do take note that your rating will still resets so its still best to maintain your league at the end of season so you won’t fall on rating that much. So, I have here an account with Silver 1 power which I plays daily and monitor how it’s been doing under the new reward system. This is a scholar account issued to me by Balthazar Guild. Balthazar is currently looking for more splinterlands scholars and each scholar has the chance to play other NFT games that the guild has to offer. If you want to join, you can visit their official website or go to their discord channel. That said, this is the summary of my entire season's grind.

During this season, I made a total of 416 battles and won 237 of them with 57% win rate using only Chaos Legion and Chaos Legion reward cards at level 2 summoner cap. What this means is that even if you are missing the older card series, you still can have good win rate and decent number of chest.

For the end of season chest, I have a total of 75 which has $6.07 of chest value but what's great is that on this season chest alone, I managed to have additional 505 collection power from the cards that I received and combine it with my daily rewards will have a total of 1745 CP, an additional 404 DEC and 1 CLP though I wish for lower potions. Either way, this season was very satisfying.

I would also like to show my appreciation on the tool I'm using to show my chest rewards. The name of the site is Splintershare which is created by Hive account@deadzy. It shows all your rewards on a very clean manner and you can look a month's worth of your previous rewards. It even has a month's recap where it will display all the rewards you earned for the entire month which includes daily and season rewards along with other features that you can access freely but you can also donate some DEC to unlock more features. The current features works just fine to me and I want to keep the footer so that others that can see my reward post would know of this wonderful tool so what I did is to send 5 SPS By the moment that I wrote this post to show my support.

So that is how well this Silver 1 account did this season. I do not tell that this is how much everyone in silver has earned but this can be used as data whether you want to stay on Silver or jump to higher leagues but overall, I think that this changes greatly improve the rewards that I can received compare to the previous season.
