What Is DAOstack?
DAOstack is the operating system for DAO. DAOstack provides basic tools for the creation, operation and management of the Environment Agency, internally and externally within a broader ecosystem. In short, this can be considered as an analogue of WordPress to DAO-that is to block what WordPress has done for the web. This vision is made possible by stacking the following components in place:
The DAOstack ecosystem is made up of many different but interoperable DAOs, interacting with each other to maximize the potential benefits of shared and distributed collaborations. At the technical level, all DAOs are created from a series of smart contracts, propagated through Arc: a government Solidity framework that makes it possible to create, configure, deploy and operate DAOs into Ethereum blockchain, possibly relying on 8 IPFS as an overlay network for data storage and retrieval.
Arc
Arc is a general governance framework for interactive internet from the blockchain body, the basic operating system for DAO. It is an open-source, modular and general-purpose framework with a design, and comes with an open library of template governance modules, or elements, that will evolve as per the needs of its users. It also allows for the enhancement and modification of easy governance systems to better suit the needs of the organization over time.
Arc.Js
Arc.js is a fairly long Solidity framework, integrated with what is needed to be reasonably understood with the Solidity and Ethereum blockchain intelligent programming language. To make simple third-party application integration for the enthusiastic front-end (JavaScript) developers, we've designed Arc.js as an easy JavaScript gateway.
ArcHives
ArcHives is the basic operating layer for the DAOstack ecosystem, and ArcHives is a shared and curated record. Shared, curated registries can be very powerful, providing high data focus and quality, but moreover, they are the locus for the ecosystem network effect, which is also a source of external monetization of ecosystems (ie business models). We will explain below DAOstack's basic ArcHives: Compendium, Mosaic, and Hive Registries, and will explain the monetization model behind it.
