When we buy steem on Bittrex for example. And we use wallet that provided by platform.
My opinion: the wallet provided by bittrex.com is just a virtual numbers show us that we own something on trade platfom. But, the original source is hosted in bittrex account on steemit wallet.
Am I right? is that also applies for all cryptocurrencies? such as bitcoin, dash etc.
