Africa. The continent with the most Countries (54) and 53 different currencies could benefit immensely from use and knowledge of Cryptocurrencies,especially Bitcoin. I'm fortunate enough to live in one of Africa's most advanced cities Johannesburg,South Africa. People come from all over the continent in their multitudes every year to earn a living here.The city has almost every first world stuff you can think about ,ie high speed trains,world class airports and some of the best sporting facilities around,having hosted the Fifa world cup final in 2010.But very few people know about Cryptocurrency,even Bitcoin which has been in existence since 2009. Some of those who have an idea of what it is still think it's a high risk investment which is always used to participate in Ponzi schemes .By choosing Bitcoin for an example as a payment method of choice to send money to loved ones all over the continent,we could benefit in a big way.Banks still charge ridiculous fees for money transfers,which most Africans can hardly afford. Better understanding of Cryptocurrency is needed in Africa.
