For adoption cyptos need to become more user friendly than they are now. Such as it not being possible to completely loose your crypto by sending it to the wrong address, or an address of a different crypto, but yeah QR codes help with that. As it stands the usability of Cryptos and the ease of getting into them for new users is terrible. It will probably come, like how the internet became easier to use. Those entities that put some real focus on making usability and adoption easier for the public are the Cryptos to watch!!! the initial computer nerd base of mainly young men has reached saturation, For these things to grow they need to appeal to other sections of society, those people that don't have time to spend hours a day watching crypto videos, learning the jargon and everything else. If you've been at work for ten hours and come home to a house of crying children that need looking after, you ain't going to be interested in anything that requires such attention.....Cryptos that are run like a business are going to do better that ones like bitcoin for example. The Cryptos that don't have strong leadership and developers committed to adoption and scalability will become the Betamax to VHS. Another factor is that Cryptos actually need to solve a problem, and not just that, the public have to 'perceive' them as solving a problem. Adoption depends on the utility of that said crypto. For currencies and day to day transactions, they MUST have speed, security, low to 0 fees and stability. Until the initial period of boom is over, currencies that fluctuate 20% + in a day just aren't going to be adopted en masse. The other cryptos that seek to offer some utility to business etc, must offer some real benefit to business. This is like the dot.com boom in many ways. A lot of these things are grossly overvalued and WILL go pop. Many of the cryptos will disappear in that pop, but the really useful ones, the well led and developed ones will survive and do well. All this has to be viewed in the light that there will be increasing government and banking encroachment and control on the space.
