Coinbase has announced Coinbase Prime, a Coinbase service that caters to institutional investors in the cryptocurrency space.
This service includes a custody service (for holding cryptos), trading services like margin finance, high-touch execution including OTC block trading, and execution algorithms, a dedicated team, and access to the same order book and liquidity current customers have access to.
We are also excited to announce the launch of Coinbase Prime, a new platform designed specifically to provide a suite of tools and services that institutional investors rely on when trading cryptocurrency.
