What an interesting tally. A statiscal report was issued to reflect how many avocado toast one must give up across major cities across the wirld in order to buy a 900sft flat to live in.
Think the origin of this tally is based on the comment from Tim Gurner, millionaire property developer from Melbourne, famous for his "advice" to millenials on how to save for a property:
“When I was trying to buy my first home, I wasn’t buying smashed avocado for $19 and four coffees at $4 each,” he said.
According to the tally, for Berlin one would have to forego a little less than 7,000 avocado toast to afford a flat but for London it is a staggering 24,499.
Property or avaocafo toast, which one can you not live without?
