The past days (especially after my recent article about EOS vs STEEM vs bitShares) I was reading and discussing a lot about the pros and cons of EOS and STEEM.
Many people seem to believe, that EOS is the next cool shit and STEEM will be obsolete in the near future - they seem to see them as competition. Others simply want to go with what already works and don´t trust the huge amount of money flowing into EOS, without even the proof of any of their claims yet.
What I finally came up with is, that neither is true....
The concept of the OS for the Web 3.0
First watch this genius video of that explains the OS model behind EOS:
It´s the best description of EOS I´ve ever watched.
If you see EOS as the OS layer of the blockchain, on which dApps can be produced, then you can also understand, that STEEM can be the same for the social web!
In fact, they work together like a match made in heaven.
Especially with the introduction of Smart Media Tokens and therefore opening the STEEM blockchain for other social apps, STEEM can be the twin brother of EOS - one for the social web and the other for everything else (incl. gaming).
You see - they work together with different goals in mind - for a great future of the Web 3.0!
